Vendor Tables Available at the Mendenhall Glacier
In 2023, the Central Council of the Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska (Tlingit & Haida) and the USDA Forest Service entered a co-stewardship agreement for the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area (MGRA). This collaboration has led to the inception of several fresh cultural interpretive initiatives, including the Cultural Ambassador program and the Tribal Artisan Spotlight Table. With close to one million annual visitors to the Mendenhall Glacier, this presents a unique chance for you to showcase your culture and artistic creations to a wide audience!

Strengthen Your Business by Embracing Financial Literacy
Generations Southeast is offering Financial Literacy classes in partnership with Tlingit Haida Regional Housing Authority’s Haa Yakaawu Financial Corporation. This course will be held in-person at the campus in Juneau, with a hybrid option to attend online.

The Central Council of the Tlingit & Haida is updating the 2018 Southeast Alaska Tribal Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy – a Tribal CEDS. This project needs YOUR input to help us develop ideas and strategies to support Tribal economic health and rural economies in Southeast for the next five years. Heritage & Cultural Tourism Conference Vendor Registration OPEN!
The annual Heritage & Cultural Tourism Conference will be held in Sitka, AK from March 19-21, 2024. The Artisan Marketplace will be held in the main foyer of the Harrigan Centennial Hall during the first two days of the conference. This exciting conference brings in Indigenous leaders from all over the country, plus the Hall will remain open to the public for tourism foot traffic as well.
There are only 10 vendor tables available. The vendor table fee is $100 and includes lunch for both days. Deadline to register is March 1, 2024.
